The Gallery in Westville

This week, I stopped in at the Gallery in Westville to meet with Heidi and Doreen and drop off one of my protea paintings. I am so thrilled to have my painting facing work by great Durban artist like Coral Spencer and Gaye Pass.

2013/2014 endings and beginnings

What a great end to 2013 having some pieces up at the Artspace 11th Annual Affordable Art Show

It's been all about colour for me this year of 2014 (with the exception of some charcoal drawings that were commissioned)

I love the bright colours from this one. I used the palette from a Jenny Parsons painting but changed the still life.

I discovered a photo on Pinterest of peonies - and loved the colours, so have used it as my reference for the painting.
